Our Story
My love for Golden Doodles began in 2021 when I met two beautiful Standard Golden Doodles. I was touched by the bond they shared with their owner and drawn to their intelligence and loving nature. That special encounter inspired me to learn more about the breed and planted the seed for what would become Mimi’s Golden Doodles & Standard Poodles.
Ellie Mae came into our lives first, followed by Dash Riprock, Zeke Everette, and Daisy Marie. As our family grew, so did our love for Standard Poodles. Their intelligence, affectionate personalities, and the joy they bring to our home have made them such a special part of our lives.
Today, my husband, Cecil, and I care for our dogs and puppies here in West Tennessee. From their very first days until they join their new families, our puppies receive our love, time, and attention.
Our days are filled with cuddles, playtime, grooming, and everyday experiences that help each puppy learn and grow in confidence. We get to know their individual personalities — the playful ones, the gentle ones, and the ones happiest curled up beside us. Watching those personalities blossom is one of our greatest joys.

Our dogs are woven into our everyday lives. Cecil and I spend our days caring for them, playing with them, and getting to know the little things that make each one special.
From the day our puppies are born, they receive gentle handling, loving attention, and the comfort of our voices. As they grow, we help them discover their world through play, everyday routines, and new experiences that build confidence. Watching their personalities blossom is one of our greatest joys.
We love being outdoors, and our dogs enjoy sharing that time with us. Whether it’s chasing a ball, splashing in the kiddie pool or koi pond, or simply staying close while we enjoy the yard, these moments are part of life here.
“Mimi” is the name my granddaughters call me, making it especially meaningful as the name of our program. Our love and patience go into raising every puppy.
